Job Title

Job Overview: Pay Range: $35.55hr - $38.60hr Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to perform moderately complex quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze and draw conclusions on data and information.
• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting software, digital, or technology initiatives.
• Experience supporting customer-facing digital products such as web, mobile, customer self-service, or contact center solutions.
• Demonstrated experience creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile development teams.
• Experience managing and refining product backlogs.
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technology requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency using Jira, Aha!, and Figma.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies that support business need for efficient and effective use of best practices.
• Identify requirements, approach, solutions, costs, risks and options to address business need.
• Lead implementation activities of an initiative, application or feature set.
• Manage project documentation including definition, requirements, conversion, testing, implementation and training.
• Prioritize initiatives by assessing business value for effort and develop options.
• Collaborate with vendors to understand product direction, release strategy, and timeframe.
• Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures and products.
• Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer needs, workflows, and desired outcomes.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements.
• Document business rules, process flows, decision logic, dependencies, and exception handling scenarios.
• Identify gaps, risks, assumptions, and dependencies within requirements.
• Create high-quality user stories that are clear, complete, testable, and ready for development.
• Develop detailed acceptance criteria using industry best practices.
• Ensure stories contain sufficient business context, user value, and expected outcomes.
• Support Product Managers in managing and maintaining the product backlog.
• Assist with backlog grooming and refinement activities.
• Validate that stories meet Definition of Ready criteria prior to entering development.
• Track dependencies across teams and initiatives.
• Clarify requirements and answer questions during development.
• Work collaboratively with developers, testers, architects, UX designers, and Product Managers to remove ambiguity.
• Support creation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects.
• Verify solutions meet business objectives before release.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and business signoffs where required.

Nice to Have:

• Experience creating process flows, journey maps, wireframes, or workflow diagrams.
• Familiarity with UX design principles and customer experience best practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Knowledge of utility, energy, customer service, billing, payments, or digital customer experience domains.
