The Operating Room Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment while ensuring optimal patient care in the operating room. This role involves working collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Operating Room Technicians, and other healthcare personnel. Responsibilities Anticipate and plan for the care of patients in the operating room. Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for surgical procedures. Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding surgical processes. Update and maintain physician preference cards accurately. Assist and support physicians during surgical cases. Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room. Conform to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, regulatory standards, and hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Circulator. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (from AHA or American Red Cross). Experience with robotics in the operating room is preferred. Work Schedule This position requires availability for a day shift of four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM) with rotating weekends. The role includes on-call duties, requiring 6-8 shifts per month, including weeknight and weekend on-call responsibilities. Location This position is available in city, state .
