Job Description
This role supports warehouse operations by safely operating a sit-down forklift, receiving and organizing incoming goods, and preparing accurate outbound shipments. You will process receipts in the M2M system, perform cycle counts, and ensure products are correctly labeled, stored, picked, packed, and shipped using UPS and FedEx systems. The position also involves basic wire harness assembly tasks and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely to load, unload, move, and stage materials within the warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities and descriptions, and process receipts in the M2M system.
• Label products accurately and put away inventory into designated warehouse locations.
• Pick products for daily orders using RF scanners, ensuring accuracy and completeness of each order.
• Process daily outbound shipments using UPS and FedEx systems according to shipping requirements.
• Package and label products for shipment, ensuring items are secure and correctly identified.
• Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
• Follow work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedules provided by the Production Lead.
• Determine job order requirements based on Production priorities and plan tasks accordingly.
• Review assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and notes on the bill of materials (BOM) where available.
• Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and wire harnesses according to specifications.
• Assemble selected electronics subassemblies to install wire harnesses as required.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, including picking, packing, shipping, and general material handling tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, room, or station at all times.
• Ensure efficiency requirements and quality standards are consistently met.
• Follow all safety requirements and safety policies throughout daily operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Proficiency in receiving goods and processing receipts in an M2M or similar inventory system.
• Hands-on experience with picking, packing, order picking, and shipping processes.
• Ability to use RF scanners for order picking and inventory transactions.
• Cycle counting experience to support accurate inventory control.
• Knowledge of material handling practices, including safe movement and storage of products.
• Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems for processing daily shipments.
• Ability to follow work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedules.
• Capability to review and interpret assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and BOM notes.
• Skill in using hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses.
• Familiarity with wire gauges (AWG) and typical terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors used in wire harness fabrication.
• Ability to assemble basic electronics subassemblies for harness installation.
• Strong attention to detail to meet efficiency and quality standards.
• Commitment to following safety requirements and safety policies.

• Experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Comfort using technology such as RF scanners and computer-based systems for inventory and shipping.

• Capability to prioritize tasks based on production priorities and job order requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments during a shift.

Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse and production environment that involves regular use of a sit-down forklift, RF scanners, and computer-based systems such as M2M and shipping platforms for UPS and FedEx. You will work around materials, wire harness components, and electronics subassemblies, requiring consistent attention to safety and organization. The position involves physical tasks such as material handling, picking, packing, and moving inventory within the facility. You will follow established safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Work schedules and shifts may vary based on production priorities and shipping demands, and you will be expected to follow Work Order Schedules and directions from production leadership throughout your shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
