About the Role:

As an LPN or RN Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse population. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure seamless transitions throughout the rehabilitation process. Your exceptional leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks effectively will enable you to manage the daily activities of the nursing department, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education, in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication.
• Staff Management: Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.

Requirements:

• Education: LPN or RN degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Previous experience as an LPN or RN, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Licensure: Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
