Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM), with every other weekend rotation and some holiday coverage

Highlights:

• Long term care facility with 66 beds and daily census of approximately 60 residents
• Nursing ratio of 1:20 with dedicated med tech per hall; CNA support at 1:8-10 on days and 1:20 on nights
• Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR), AIDET communication framework, and hourly rounding protocols in place
• Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and more
• Floating required as needed; local candidates (within 50 miles) not accepted for this travel assignment
• Free onsite parking provided

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state licensure
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 1 year of long term care (LTAC) experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must pass telemetry exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria
