Pay rate: $30.00

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Location: 777 Main Street Downtown Fort Worth

Work schedule: 7:30-4:30 or 8:00-5:00 (1 hour lunch break)

Job Responsibilities

• Project management of the permitting process from start to finish.
• Management of incoming permitting requests, keeping them organized and on track.
• Works with other groups to obtain necessary documentation and information needed to complete a permit request.
• Provides status updates and reporting to other work groups as to the status of various permitting requests.
• Submits the permit requests to the required entities and sees the submittal through completion.
• Becomes a valuable point of contact between the utility provider and various permitting entities.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Trustworthy, motivated, and able to gain respect and confidence of others in the work group.
• Promote and exhibit corporate citizenship.

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years related permitting or project management experience.
• Knowledge of real estate industries practices, procedures, and documents.
• Knowledge of the electrical utility industry desired.
• Proven customer service and communication skills.
• Proven team-building and organization skills.

• Possesses the skills, knowledge, and expertise required to perform the essential aspects of the job.
• Problem-solving, organization skills, interpersonal skills and ability to translate complex issues into clear and concise concepts through verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to possess a working knowledge of the utility provider's operating environment, specifically in regard to the surrounding work groups.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment to accomplish overall goals.
