Title: Territory Sales Rep ( tile, stone, porcelain, glass)

Location: Marco Island to Sarasota, Fl ( west coast only)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to sales closure through a framework of both specified and unspecified projects to drive sales growth. Professionally represent company and the entire product portfolio while providing the highest level of customer service throughout an assigned territory. Working within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term goals in line with the company vision and values.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
 Drive Sales growth through effective and diligent sales disciplines and processes.
 Professionally service current customers and establish new customer accounts, including Builders, Retailers, Designers, Architectural Design, Commercial Flooring Contractors and Pool Contractors.
 Place and maintain appropriate product merchandising and sample collaterals in customer showroom/libraries.
 Pursue and capture sales through specifications, value engineering opportunities, tenant improvement and dealer/builder/designer sales representatives’ selections for clients.
 Drive specifications and sales generation through the showroom by building a referral network of designers, contractors/dealers and builders.
 Provide continuing education to customers through a formal and rehearsed presentation of products, services and company strengths.
 Create and implement effective programs for select customers that are mutually beneficial in driving revenue.
 Will occasionally perform informal inside sales and must be willing and able to work with the other team members to maintain a high level of service and drive sales activities.
 Maintain a high level of market and products awareness.
 Establish and maintain a strong understanding of each customer’s business, their target clientele and how we help them succeed.
 Must set specific Goals, Objectives and Activities that will serve as the business plan for the territory and specific accounts to drive performance and work within the company profile to reach these objectives.
 Establish strong relationships throughout a customer’s business organization.
 Actively participate in weekly/monthly 1:1 meeting with your manager.
 Provide leadership quality market intelligence on product trends and pricing parameters required in the market.
 Use CRM consistently to assist in managing the territory and business.
 Participate in local CBIA, IDS, ASID, HBA or other industry minded organizations.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS:
 Must have 3+ years of flooring industry sales experience. ( tile, porcelain,glass, stone preferred)
 Operate with a high degree of Integrity.
 High school diploma or GED equivalent
 Outgoing, self-motivated, creative and detail oriented.
 Able to build and leverage strong relationships.
 Strategic and tactical thinking
 Demonstrates excellent follow-up and follow-through.
 Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
 Effective computer skills, including MS Office.
 Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
 Valid Florida drivers license with clean driving record. (A company vehicle is provided for sales calls)

COMPENSATION:
Salary plus performance-based commission/bonus and established company benefits.
