Join a team that's making a difference-one patient at a time. Position SummaryWe're seeking a skilled and mission-driven (Pediatric) Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver direct patient care, coordinate services, and support our community health initiatives. This role blends clinical expertise with compassionate outreach, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, culturally sensitive care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient assessments using subjective and objective dataAdminister care per established protocols under the direction of the Medical DirectorDevelop individualized care plans, including education and referralsRefer patients to appropriate medical and human service agencies using knowledge of community resourcesProvide health education and counseling to support patient wellnessReport communicable diseases in compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsPerform venipuncture and administer parenteral medications and nebulizer treatments as orderedAccurately document all patient interactions and treatmentsUphold legal and ethical standards in nursing practiceApply knowledge of the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and scope of practiceAdapt to evolving trends in nursing and demonstrate clinical competenceUtilize and document appropriately within grant-funded programs (e.g., adult/children's medication, eyeglass, dental, diabetic programs)Coordinate care with volunteer staff and interdisciplinary teamsMaintain compliance with OSHA standards and clinic safety protocolsQualificationsCurrent RN license in the State of WisconsinStrong clinical assessment and documentation skillsExperience in community health or public health preferredKnowledge of local support services and referral networksExcellent communication and patient education abilitiesCommitment to health equity and serving diverse populationsPediatric care experience preferredWhy Join Us?Mission-driven work that transforms livesSupportive team environmentOpportunities for professional growthFlexible scheduling optionsMeaningful community impactReady to bring your skills to a place where they truly matter?
