Overview Join the fast-paced emergency department as an ER Registered Nurse in Harvey, Illinois. This 13-week contract offers you the chance to work in a Level I Trauma ED within a teaching hospital setting, managing a patient load with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. You will respond to urgent situations, provide critical nursing interventions, and navigate the complexities of trauma care during night shifts. Prior experience in an urban trauma hospital is preferred. Certifications such as BLS , ACLS , NIHSS , and PALS are required. Responsibilities Respond to urgent situations and provide critical nursing interventions in a Level I Trauma ED. Manage a patient load with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting. Provide trauma care during night shifts. Qualifications Licensed as an RN and eligible to work in Illinois. Experience in urban trauma hospital settings preferred. Certifications: BLS , ACLS , NIHSS , PALS . Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
