Registered Nurse (Tele RN) - Night Shift

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM) with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry department on the night shift. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a similar role and hold the necessary certifications. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with cardiac and telemetry needs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac telemetry patients for changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage care for individuals with complex medical issues such as ACS, CHF, and stroke.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active MD RN license or compact license.
• 2 years of nursing experience required, with a preference for telemetry experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
