Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Day ShiftLocation: MarylandAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:30) with rotating mid shifts (11:00 - 23:30). Every other weekend and holiday required as scheduled.Job Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a general emergency department setting. This position involves working with a diverse patient population across all age ranges from neonates to geriatrics. The RN will deliver care for a variety of emergency conditions, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with established protocols and standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to emergency department patients with a focus on rapid assessment and intervention.Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide treatment for acute conditions.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity and departmental needs.Document patient care activities accurately in the Epic charting system.Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 years of ER experience required.Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required; CPI certification will be conducted on-site during onboarding.Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
