Phlebotomist

Role A phlebotomist responsible for performing blood draws, specimen collection, labeling, processing, and maintaining lab equipment. Key Responsibilities Collect and store specimens following protocols, explain procedures courteously, demonstrate venipuncture techniques, verify test orders, label and centrifuge samples, package for transport, and ensure specimen integrity according to regulations. Qualifications & Skills Valid phlebotomy certification (if required), 6+ months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a high school diploma or GED, and 2-4 years of relevant experience. Additional Requirements Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, ability to work flexible hours within a 6AM-6PM window, and pediatric to geriatric experience. The role may involve traveling across various regions and includes mileage reimbursement.
