Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative circulator coverage in the OR for orthopedic, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery cases; maintain sterile field, perform instrument counts, and assist with patient positioning.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the sterile processing team to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow; manage documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; assist with specimen handling, equipment setup, and room turnover.
- Float to related procedural areas as needed and participate in on-call rotations (8 shifts per month, including some weekends; on-call Friday 5pm to Monday 7am).
- Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and standard of care; support effective handoffs and post-anesthesia care as required.
- Orientation and credentialing processes are required prior to start; EPIC experience is highly preferred for documentation and workflow.

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 1+ year OR circulator experience in orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery; scrub experience not required
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- New graduates not accepted; ability to work in the OR and related procedural areas; willingness to participate in on-call schedule and float as needed
