Yard, Delivery & Building Maintenance Associate

The Yard, Delivery & Building Maintenance Associate supports daily store operations by assisting customers, handling product deliveries, maintaining yard organization, and performing routine building and grounds maintenance. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Assist customers with loading merchandise safely and efficiently

Organize and maintain lumber yard, bulk product areas, and outdoor inventory

Receive, unload, and stock incoming freight and vendor shipments

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided if needed)

Safely load, secure, and deliver customer orders including appliances, grills, and building materials

Provide professional and friendly customer service during deliveries

Maintain delivery vehicles including cleanliness and routine inspections

Assist with routine building maintenance and minor repairs

Help maintain store appearance inside and outside the facility

Perform grounds maintenance including trash removal, seasonal upkeep, snow removal, and lawn care

Assist with store projects, displays, and general facility improvements

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in indoor and outdoor environments

Ability to work in varying seasonal weather conditions

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Basic mechanical or maintenance experience preferred but not required

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
