Supply Chain Management

Create/manage and execute the strategy for supply chain management activities. Work closely with multiple departments to ensure supply chain processes are in place for all facets of manufacturing operations (product development, inventory, maintenance, manufacturing and distribution). Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure processes are at peak proficiency. Manage existing and long term forecast projections so that informed organizational decisions are made. Develop effective relationships with company vendors/suppliers and partners. Negotiate pricing/contracts with suppliers and 3rd party logistics companies. Monitor supplier performance and qualify new suppliers.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Bachelors Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management (or other related field)
• 5+ years of Supply Chain Management experience in manufacturing
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing operations
• Experience in the Chemical Industry will be a huge plus!
• Experience in sourcing vendors including contract/price negotiations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
