CLINICAL PHARMACIST SPECIALIST - INFECTIOUS DISEASE

Position Summary The Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (ID CPS) provides collaborative pharmaceutical care to hospital patients through the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP). The ID CPS works with an Infectious Disease physician, hospitalists, house staff physicians, pharmacists, pharmacy residents, and clinical microbiology staff. In addition, the pharmacist participates in hospital‑wide and departmental meetings such as Infection Control and other assigned meetings. The pharmacist takes part in departmental projects and may teach learners as needed. The position may include weekends, holidays, days, evenings, and/or night shifts as determined by departmental needs. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy and current pharmacist license by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Advanced training (residency, fellowship, and/or board certification). Experience: PGY1 residency + PGY2 residency in infectious disease + 2 years of experience in the area, or PGY1 + 4 years experience in practice area, or 5 years experience in practice area. Licensure, Certification, and Registry BCIDP or national fellow status. Maintains BLS and ACLS certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
