School Speech and Language Pathologist | Aromas, California

Exciting opportunity available for contract Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding assignment for the 2026-2027 school year in the Aromas, CA area. This upcoming full-time position offers a dynamic environment dedicated to supporting students' communication needs across various school sites within the district.


Qualified professionals will provide direct speech-language services and conduct assessments for students, working collaboratively with educators and families. The school district is looking for onsite SLPs who bring expertise and flexibility to a diverse student population. Preference is given to those who have previous school-based SLP experience in California and are bilingual in Spanish.


Qualifications:

• Active and valid California SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• School-based speech-language pathology experience, preferably in California
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments and screenings for communication disorders
• Maintain accurate records and update progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress
• Adapt therapy techniques for diverse needs and cultural backgrounds
• Communicate effectively and professionally in a school environment

Multiple positions are anticipated. Caseload details and specific school sites will be determined closer to the assignment start date. Contract is expected to run from August 2026 through June 2027 (exact dates to be confirmed).
