Pediatric Speech Therapist in Watsonville, CA

You'll work in a supportive educational environment serving a caseload of 60 diverse students near Watsonville, CA, from June 15 to July 16. Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California SLP license or eligibility
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pending completion of CFY requirements
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and adolescent populations in educational settings
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with compassion and strong organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset for partnering with educators, families, and other specialists
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students ages preschool through post-secondary
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring measurable progress
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, create detailed reports, and help guide intervention planning
• Work alongside multidisciplinary school teams to support student achievement
• Engage with families and staff to enhance communication strategies and educational outcomes
• Document services provided in compliance with school and professional standards
