Little Scholars Services is seeking a compassionate, organized, and family-centered Program Coordinator to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This role serves as a vital liaison between families, Regional Centers, and our clinical team to ensure children receive timely, high-quality Early Intervention and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting children with developmental needs, excels in communication and coordination, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for families referred through Regional Centers and other funding sources
Guide families through the intake, authorization, and service initiation process
Coordinate Early Intervention and ABA services to ensure timely access to care
Maintain regular communication with families regarding services, scheduling, and program updates
Collaborate with Regional Center Service Coordinators, clinicians, and administrative staff
Track referrals, authorizations, assessments, and treatment start dates
Monitor caseload activity and ensure compliance with funding source requirements
Assist with scheduling evaluations and ongoing therapy services
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within company systems
Support family engagement and satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service
Identify and escalate service barriers to leadership when necessary
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred in Human Services, Psychology, Child Development, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Previous experience working with Regional Centers, Early Intervention programs, ABA services, or pediatric healthcare preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to build rapport with families, caregivers, and community partners
Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
