Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time Condominium Complex Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a residential community, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report concerns, respond to incidents, and provide courteous communication and customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact emergency services and/or site representatives as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
