Our Production Supervisor Opportunity This is a critical role for someone who enjoys leadership, coaching teams, and ensuring that high standards for safety, sanitation, and production performance are met every day. Train and mentor seasonal and fulltime employees on equipment operation, PPE, sanitation, and safety procedures. Promote a strong safety culture; correct unsafe acts and support progressive corrective action processes. Coordinate with the Operations Manager and management team on employee onboarding and ongoing training. Sanitation & Cleaning Operations Lead daily sanitation activities to ensure equipment and production areas are clean and ready for the next shift. Develop and maintain sanitation schedules, including shutdown and deep clean events. Ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, chemical handling protocols, and cross‑contamination prevention. Verify sanitation chemical concentrations and maintain proper labeling, storage, and documentation. Food Safety Responsibilities Monitor compliance with HACCP programs and respond to food safety concerns in a timely manner. Perform ATP/TPC verification, preoperative inspections, and sanitation audits. Complete required allergen and organic transition documentation. Support plant readiness for SQF, HACCP, PCQI, and regulatory audits. Maintenance Coordination Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor during offseason to plan and support maintenance activities. Assist in the development and execution of capital and major maintenance projects. Documentation & Compliance Ensure accurate recordkeeping for production, sanitation, food safety, and equipment readiness. Uphold all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures. What You’ll Bring Associate degree or equivalent experience; 2‑3 years of manufacturing or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of food production equipment, sanitation processes, and GMP/HACCP standards. Experience reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills. Experience calculating proportions, percentages, and basic production metrics. Experience solving practical problems and responding to changing demands in a manufacturing environment.
