Job Summary and Responsibilities Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators for continuous short‑ and long‑term mechanical ventilation. Self‑directed work in the absence of the full‑time Team Leader. Maintain department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer system. Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. Qualifications Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA‑approved respiratory care program (Associate’s Degree); Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist. American Heart Association BLS health care provider required. Acquisition of ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire. Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel and move equipment frequently.
