Certified Athletic Trainer

Job Description The Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive injury mitigation, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to support mission readiness, performance, and longevity. The role includes direct care delivery, training support, equipment preparation, and coordination between rehabilitation and strength & conditioning services. Responsibilities Function across the spectrum of the POTFF program under supervision of a Physician, PA or PT, providing injury mitigation, examination, treatment and rehab of emergent, acute or chronic injuries. Serve as Bridge Coordinator, bridging clients between rehab and strength & conditioning services until no medical restrictions remain. Provide human performance services within ATC scope as defined by NATA BOC. Design and fabricate protective pads, equipment, and braces; apply taping techniques as within scope. Provide instruction and guidance within scope. Advising POTFF or Physical Domain Manager/Coordinator on injury mitigation, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and bridging. Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years demonstrable experience as an ATC with athletes at NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional sports, USAF CRAFT, USAF SWTW, or SOF operators in respective settings. Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training (Master’s or Clinical Doctorate preferred). Must be state licensed and NATABOC certified. Secret or Top-Secret clearance, or ability to obtain. U.S. citizenship required.
