Registered Dietitian

Position Summary This position is responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive clinical nutrition program which includes: nutrition assessments, education, intervention, monitoring and evaluation. The Registered Dietitian also develops and provides nutrition education to patients as needed, and plans therapeutic and religious diets for the individuals housed at Department of Corrections institutions, centers and schools. This includes planning for persons in the care of the Dept. of Corrections who may have intellectual disabilities and may also present with mental health or behavior issues. The Dietitian will assist management with Food Service Programs as needed. The Dietitian will assist in providing education to Food Service and Health Care staff as needed. Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 11-04 with a starting pay of $58344 to $85820 per year. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Certification or eligibility for certification as a \"certified dietitian\" in the State of Wisconsin as provided under WI Statutes 448.70 through 448.94. ServSafe Manager Certification required.
