Equipment Maintenance Technician - Mid Shift

Equipment maintenance technician position at a life-science manufacturing facility in Mount Prospect, Illinois, working mid-day shift. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshooting, spare parts management, and operator training in a GMP environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance per schedule; document completion in GMP systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, sensors, control systems, and related components
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting and engineering evaluations
- Manage spare parts and consumables inventory; coordinate repairs and purchases with vendors
- Setup production equipment and train operators on proper use; follow OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience as mechanic or technician preferred
- Experience in cGMP environment preferred
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical packaging equipment (fillers, labelers, blister machines, cappers, sealers)
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
Compensation: $25.58–$38.37/hr
