HVAC Service Technician

Overview A well-established, privately held mechanical services firm is seeking an experienced Licensed HVAC Service Technician to join its growing team. This is a field-based role focused on servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial and light industrial HVAC systems across a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV, split systems, etc.) Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance Respond to service calls and effectively communicate findings with clients Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Coordinate with dispatch and service management to prioritize and complete workload Mentor junior technicians as needed and support team development Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company and industry standards Qualifications Valid Massachusetts Refrigeration License (required) 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a range of systems Experience working independently in the field EPA Certification (required) Strong customer communication and professionalism Clean driving record Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay + overtime opportunities Company vehicle, tools, and gas card provided Full benefits package (health, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Why Join Strong backlog of service work and long-term client relationships Supportive leadership with a focus on technician growth Stable, well-respected contractor in the local market #J-18808-Ljbffr LVI Associates
