Licensed Clinical Psychologist Nursing Home & Geriatric Care

Bronx, NY

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 + Uncapped Performance Bonuses

Rooster Placement is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide in-person psychotherapy services to older adults in skilled nursing and long-term care settings throughout the Bronx.

• Provide individual psychotherapy to geriatric patients

• Facilitate group therapy sessions

• Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions including:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Adjustment disorders

  • Cognitive decline and related behavioral concerns

• Develop individualized treatment plans

• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams

• Partner with nursing home leadership to enhance behavioral health services

Required:

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology

• Active New York State Psychologist License

• Ability to provide in-person clinical services

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Spanish-speaking

• Experience working with older adults

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Subacute Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, or Geriatric Psychology experience
