Job Summary

Terraces of Lake Worth, FL, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lake Worth, FL is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Director to join our team. As a dedicated and compassionate healthcare provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents in a modern, comfortable, and secure facility. As a key member of our leadership team, the Maintenance Director will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry

• Coordinate with the management team to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks

• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes

• Supervise a team of maintenance staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

• Develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

• Respond to resident complaints and concerns regarding facility maintenance

Requirements

• Maintenance Director experience in a healthcare facility with a minimum of 2 years experience

• Strong understanding of maintenance and repair principles and practices

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
