Overview Family Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care in Los Angeles Position Title: Family Nurse Practitioner Location: Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: Part-time (6 shifts a month) Salary: $75/hr. plus Overtime and Malpractice Coverage Position Overview Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted “Best Urgent Care” eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our newest Los Angeles, CA (Century City) location. Key Responsibilities Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break. Full-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month with one weekend per month (8 am to 9 pm). Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting. Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair. Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders. Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute. About Us Our doors opened in 2012, in Bakersfield, CA. We have expanded our brand and services throughout Bakersfield, Fresno, Clovis, Chino, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, Dana Point, Laguna Hills, and Los Angeles.
