In this school-based role in Broomall , PA , you'll work directly with students with diverse learning, communication, behavioral, and support needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll implement evidence-based behavioral strategies, support student growth, collect data, and help students achieve success academically, socially, and emotionally.

In This Role, You Will:

• Support students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs throughout the school day
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA
• Assist with classroom instruction and school-wide PBIS initiatives
• Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and student progress data
• Reinforce positive behaviors and teach replacement skills
• Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other educational professionals to support student success
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment

Qualifications

Education : High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field; RBT certification strongly preferred. Will consider candidates in process to complete RBT Certification. 

Experience : Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents who experience behavioral challenges. Experience with crisis intervention/CPI Safety certification preferred.  Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided.  Must have reliable transportation and the ability to handle crisis level behavior.
