Expereince Bilingual Phlebotomist

Labcorp is a leader in diagnostics, drug development and healthcare innovation. Location: Aishling Ob/Gyn INC, 931 E. Sandhurst, Sandwich, IL 60548. Work Schedule: Monday 8:30‑5:00, Tuesday 8:30‑6:00, Wednesday 8:30‑5:30, Thursday 8:30‑5:30, Friday 9:00‑3:00. Client may request a Saturday morning once a month. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or three months or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications Two years or more of phlebotomy experience Bilingual in Spanish Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency if no work experience Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Pay Range: $17.50 – $24.50 per hour. Benefits: Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only for 401(k). Employees on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
