Method Development and Validation Research Technician II

Eurofins seeks a Method Development and Validation Research Technician II to support bioanalytical projects with limited supervision. The role involves developing and validating immunoassays, managing client communications, and providing technical leadership to junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer immunoassays and bioanalytical methods including RIA, EIA, Flow Cytometry, and cell-based assays
• Manage client project communications and deliver technical documentation such as validation plans, reports, and test methods
• Characterize antibodies, qualify reagents, and conduct product evaluations to develop fit-for-purpose assays
• Mentor junior staff, provide technical leadership, and perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting
• Organize lab workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure consistent on-time delivery within regulatory compliance frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years method development and validation experience, or advanced degree with proportional experience
• Prior pharma, CRO, or clinical laboratory experience
• Hands-on experience designing and performing ligand binding assays
• Direct client contact experience in industry
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Statistical analysis, data interpretation, and proficiency with MS Office and instrumentation software
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to troubleshoot assays
