Job Description
Registered Nurse – PCU responsible for caring for patients in a mixed acuity PCU, MS Tele, and Med-Surg environment. The RN will manage a wide range of surgical, trauma, orthopedic, telemetry, and overflow medical patients while ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital protocols.

The role requires recent PCU/IMC experience and strong telemetry skills in a fast-paced acute care setting. Nurses must be comfortable managing varying patient acuity levels and floating to corresponding sister units as needed.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills / Experience
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Recent PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years REQUIRED
• MS/Tele and Telemetry experience required
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Post-MI care experience required
• IV insulin protocols and insulin drip titration required
• Feeding tube care and management required
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) required
• Renal failure management required
• Central line/PICC line/peripheral line care required
• Starting and maintaining IVs required
• Blood product administration required
• Heparin protocols required
• Cardiac drip management and titration required
• CVA and seizure disorder care required
• Substance withdrawal management required
• Orthopedic trauma experience required
• Chest tube management required
• BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC experience required
• Tracheostomy care/management required
• Isolation precautions and wound care required
• EPIC charting experience REQUIRED
