SSA Contract Manager - West

Supporting Services (SSA) Contract Manager - West Region Join our Bently Nevada Services team. Our team performs installations, configurations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and instruction on Bently Nevada Systems Hardware & Software to protect and monitor a variety of machine types encountered in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemicals, Pulp & Paper, and other process industries. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver SSA contract services. Act as the primary liaison between customers and contract service team, ensuring clear communication, contract adherence, and smooth information flow. Ensure compliance with contract terms, operational standards, performance metrics, and financial requirements. Collaborate with regional service teams to uncover new opportunities, expand existing contracts, and design tailored service solutions. Oversee quarterly site safety reviews and team training in alignment with Bently Nevada/Baker Hughes HSE policies. Manage contracts across diverse industries, including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Pulp & Paper. Complete financial and operational deliverables on time, including proof‑of‑delivery, milestone tracking, scheduling, and KPI reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. At least 3 years of experience in project or contract management within oil & gas or power generation. Willingness to travel up to 30% and work overtime as needed. Eligibility to work in the United States. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a TWIC card. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with rotating machinery operations and control systems. Knowledge of machinery protection and management systems. Experience with Bently Nevada products and services. Desired Characteristics Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and guide small teams. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive initiatives of moderate scope. Skilled in problem identification, analysis, and resolution. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities. Proficiency in hardware/software troubleshooting and MS Office applications. Hands‑on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and prints. Knowledge of reciprocating compressors and networking devices/protocols.
