Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager: Oversee daily accounting operations, including general accounting and accounts payable. Support monthly close activities and preparation of GAAP‑compliant financial statements. Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate financial transaction processing. Perform financial and fluctuation analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support audits, tax filings, grant reconciliations, and patient revenue accounting. Qualifications for the Accounting Manager: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Prior management or supervisory accounting experience. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within nonprofit or healthcare. Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise; CPA preferred.
