As a PCA, you will play an important role in providing hands‑on support and compassionate care to our residents. You will assist with daily activities, promote comfort and safety, and help create a positive environment that supports each resident's quality of life. Responsibilities of Patient Care Assistants (PCA) Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Assist residents with mobility, repositioning, and transfers according to facility procedures and training. Help with meal service and provide assistance during meals as needed. Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident areas. Answer resident call lights and respond to resident needs in a timely and compassionate manner. Observe residents and promptly communicate any changes or concerns to the nursing team. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Assist residents with maintaining independence and dignity in their daily routines. Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection‑control practices. Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team. Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
