Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Certification as a School Nurse by the New Mexico Department of Education
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage the general health room and provide care for elementary, middle, and high school students
• Administer first aid, medications, and emergency response as necessary
• Monitor ongoing student health needs including chronic illnesses, injuries, and communicable conditions
• Maintain up-to-date health records and support compliance with immunization requirements
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote a healthy school environment
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for parents regarding student health concerns
