Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support inpatient pharmacy services in El Centro, CA. This contract role is designed for professionals eager to leverage their clinical skills in a fast-paced hospital environment with a possibility to transition into a permanent position.

Location:

• El Centro, CA (close to Holtville, CA)

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday
• 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts per week)
• Shared on-call responsibilities with the team

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide clinical pharmacy consultations
• Manage pharmacokinetics services, optimizing patient medication therapies

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Ability to handle demanding workloads and adapt quickly in emergent situations
• Ready to start immediately

Additional Information:

• Utilizes Cerner electronic health record system
• Contract engagement initially for 13 weeks with a potential to convert to permanent
• Emergent staffing need to fill three open positions
