A dynamic opportunity is available for licensed pharmacists to fill essential roles at a healthcare facility in El Centro, CA. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Candidates will engage in a fast-paced, supportive environment requiring clinical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Location: El Centro, CA
Type: Contract (13 weeks +, temp-to-hire possibility)
Schedule:

• 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Some on-call responsibilities shared across staff

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Provide consultations to physicians and nursing staff regarding medications
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles for patient-specific drug dosing
• Support inpatient medication management and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly with an ASAP start date
• Proficient with Cerner pharmacy systems or similar technology
