Talem Home Care is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to assist an 18-year-old client as she begins an exciting new chapter attending college at Colorado State University.

This position will begin on August 18th when the client moves into her dormitory and will provide support to help her successfully live and attend classes away from home for the first time.

Schedule Available:

We are hiring caregivers for both:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
• Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM.

Coverage is needed 7 days per week , and multiple caregivers will be selected to create a consistent care team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Medication reminders and assistance.
• Tube feedings.
• Wound dressing changes.
• Bathing and personal care assistance.
• Mobility and transfer assistance as needed.
• Accompanying and assisting the client to and from classes.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Supporting the client's independence and college experience.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in condition.

Training Provided:

The client, family, and RN team will provide individualized training and ongoing support to ensure caregivers are comfortable and successful in the role.

Accommodations:

For overnight caregivers, the family will provide a comfortable sleeping arrangement/ bathroom within the client's dormitory suite.

Family Interview Required:

The client and her family will participate in the caregiver selection process and interview all potential candidates to ensure the best possible fit.
