Scheduling Department Manager

Working closely with the VP of Operations, this role will support project teams in developing and managing project schedules, promote consistency in scheduling practices, maintain historical schedule data, and lead Hanover's Global Support Services scheduling team, located in Ahmedabad, India.Who you are:A collaborative leader who communicates effectively with project teams and all levels of the Construction Division.Proactive, dependable, and accountable, with the initiative to drive work to completion and meet deadlines.A thoughtful problem-solver who can analyze schedule issues, make sound decisions, and help teams develop practical solutions.Highly organized and detail oriented, with a strong focus on schedule quality, consistency, and data integrity.A coach and mentor who enjoys developing team members, setting clear expectations, and improving performance.Comfortable working across locations and time zones while fostering strong relationships between project teams and remote support personnel.What you will do:Lead and manage the India-based Global Support Services scheduling team, including priorities, workload allocation, deliverables, quality, productivity, mentoring, and coordination with U.S. project teams.Support Project Managers and project teams in developing initial baseline schedules using approved templates, milestones, WBS standards, calendars, logic, durations, and other schedule attributes.Maintain and promote consistent scheduling standards, templates, milestone structures, WBS structures, and Scheduling Standard Operating Procedures across projects.Provide technical Primavera P6 support for schedule development, periodic updates, forecasting, schedule health checks, audits, variance analysis, and data integrity.Assist project teams with resequencing, recovery schedules, major schedule adjustments, critical path impacts, and evaluation of recovery strategies.Analyze completed schedules and historical project performance to identify trends, benchmarks, production rates, lessons learned, and opportunities to improve future planning.Oversee remote scheduling support activities, including schedule narratives, report publishing, historical data collection, schedule audits, and review of work products for accuracy and compliance with company standards.Maintain scheduling process documentation and drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, improved technology utilization, key performance indicators, and lessons learned.Requirements:Proficient in Primavera P63+ years of supervisory experienceExcellent communication skills with the ability to support all levels of ConstructionInitiative to complete work according to deadlines and a proactive attitude of support for U.S. project teams and the GSS Scheduling TeamStrong attention to detail and highly organized work habitsPosition is full-time and based in our Corporate Office in Houston, Texas - no remote work or hybrid scheduleRegular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.What we offer:Very competitive payExcellent bonus potentialCompany-paid health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchingAssistance in professional licensureCompany paid life insurance Generous paid time off packageCell phone stipendOnsite, complimentary fitness facilities and classesCompany paid holidaysGreat work/life balanceFuture growth opportunities
