Maintenance Technician

BeMore Staffing is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for temporary and temp-to-hire positions at apartment communities throughout the area. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in apartment maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. Candidates with HVAC experience and/or EPA certification are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include performing general maintenance tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry, masonry, and painting. Technicians will also repair and maintain building structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and exterior areas. Exceptional customer service to clients, residents, and team members is required, along with responding promptly and professionally to resident service requests. Units must be prepared for new move-ins, ensuring all community standards are met. Annual preventative maintenance tasks and grounds maintenance are also part of the role, along with support for special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements include HVAC certification preferred but not required (EPA certification is a plus). Minimum of 6 months of maintenance experience in an apartment community or similar environment is required, along with working knowledge of HVAC systems, including the ability to maintain, repair, or replace systems (preferred). A valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation are necessary. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and possess basic hand tools necessary to perform daily maintenance tasks. Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
