Responsibilities Meet the Recruiter: Amber Smallwood Assistant Logistics Coordinator What You’ll Get To Do: Daily Logistical Operation Coordinates the international import and export shipment and supports the procurement, CRM Sales (SCM) teams in a prompt and effective manner including freight payment process Supporting daily logistical operation and coordination Assisting in coordinating and arranging the international IMP & EXP shipment Inquiring and obtaining appropriate documents for any incoming and outgoing shipments Supporting follow‑up of incoming shipment with Freight forwarder for any shipment in correspondence needs Providing the import and shipping instructions to Customs broker/freight forwarder with follow‑up of the deliveries Corresponding with domestic transportation/Drayage company for deliveries; assisting to obtain the POD of the shipment when needed Maintains control over air and ocean freight and brokerage charge and processes freight payment with accounting requirements (Cost Center, GL code) Reviews and interprets shipping documents to ensure accordance with purchase order, product components, shipping incoterms Assisting the Logistics Coordinator in the timely delivery of goods to the customer, distribution warehouse by investigating and resolving any detention issues Record keeping, entering shipment information Qualifications What You’ll Bring: Education and Experience Preferably logistics related field work experience Intermediate PC proficiency with MS Excel required Proficiency in system software required (SAP preferred) Key Competencies Ability to identify customer needs, monitor satisfaction and act as the voice of the customer Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work independently Ability to effectively communicate with business partners throughout the supply chain, including customers, freight forwarder, trucking company and shipping company Logistics and factories experience Strong analytical ability and problem‑solving skills Benefits & Perks – What’s In It For You Health Benefits – Offering medical, dental, vision, prescription plans, plus Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options Voluntary Benefits – Life, accident, critical illness, disability, legal, identity theft, and pet insurance Panasonic Retirement Savings & Investment Plan (PRSIP) – 401(k) plan with company matching contributions and immediate vesting Paid Time‑Off Benefits – Vacation, holidays, personal days, sick leave, volunteer, and parental & caregiver leave Educational Assistance – Tuition reimbursement for job‑related courses after six months of service Health Management and Wellbeing Programs – Lifestyle Spending Account, EAP, virtual health management, chronic condition, neurodiversity, tobacco cessation, substance abuse support, and life stage and fertility resources.
