Nuclear Medicine Tech (PET/CT) - Per Diem - Houston, TX

What You’ll Do Perform PET/CT diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following KSC Nuclear Medicine and Radiology protocols Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and clear communication Administer radiopharmaceuticals, contrast media, and IV injections with precision and care Conduct general nuclear medicine imaging when needed (e.g., Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flow studies, SPECT) Use EMR, RIS, and PACS for accurate documentation and image archiving, support equipment upkeep, supply management, and overall clinic safety. Participate in continuing education, team trainings, and quality improvement initiatives. Serve as a resource for new staff during orientation. Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED from an accredited program Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Minimum PET/CT clinical rotation within an approved NM program NMTCB or ARRT(N) MRT-General Certificate; BLS through American Heart Association Demonstrated ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition Venipuncture Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, radiologic science or related course of study ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) 3+ years in PET/CT Bi-lingual or multi-lingual Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment.
