Medical Assistant

$1166.20/week - Job Summary: Provide clinical support and patient care in an OB-GYN practice setting. Responsible for assisting providers during procedures, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring smooth workflow within the clinic. Responsibilities: Assist providers during exams and procedures, including chaperoning as needed. Perform phlebotomy and draw blood specimens accurately and efficiently. Document patient encounters and clinical information using EPIC electronic health record system. Verify patient information, collect medical histories, and prepare patients for exams. Maintain clinical supplies and ensure the exam rooms are sterile and organized. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, including BLS certification requirements. Qualifications: HS diploma or GED required; additional education or certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred. Phlebotomy experience required. Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent accepted. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
