Test Supervisor

Responsibilities Supervise staff to carry out testing analysis of components ensuring quality standards are met. Schedule workflow through the department so that customer deadlines are met; monitor throughput and performance. Coordinate between departments to ensure resources are available. Monitor and maintain QC standards. Read and interpret testing requirements and procedures (on occasion). Draft and update standard test procedures, test instructions, and test work routers as required. Provide feedback on test routers to improve testing efficiency and yield. Ensure product meets conformance and sign off on CoCs. Train and motivate staff, set goals, review performance and assess training needs. Develop, along with engineering, new laboratory methods to increase product flow, mitigate losses, and ensure standards continually improve. Communicate to all levels of the facility on area performance, interruptions to workflow, and safety concerns. Ensure safety, housekeeping, and cleanliness of the area daily. Ensure all preventative maintenance and calibration is completed on time and on budget. Account for own actions as well as those of subordinates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or Associate’s degree plus 3 years of manufacturing experience. 2-5 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 3-5 years of prior manufacturing experience. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions safely, accurately, and promptly. Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast‑paced, professional environment. Ability to work well with others. Works well under pressure. Ability to work extended hours, including weekends when required. Ensures full compliance with testing procedures and company ES&H. Competence in the MS Office suite, specifically Excel. Familiarity with working in an ISO/AS9100 regulated environment is preferred. Physical Requirements Conduct daily and weekly audits walking and/or standing in the facility up to 8 hours per day. Push and/or pull carts up to 50 lbs.
