In this role, you will operate CNC milling equipment, inspect parts for quality, interpret blueprints, and perform basic machine setups and adjustments. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a precision manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor CNC milling machines and related equipmentLoad and unload materials and workpieces safely and efficientlyPerform basic machine setups, tool changes, and adjustmentsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsMeasure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring toolsPerform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are metMake minor offset and tool wear adjustments as neededIdentify and report machining, quality, or equipment concernsMaintain accurate production and inspection recordsAssist with tooling and equipment-related projects as neededPerform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping dutiesFollow all company safety policies and proceduresSkills & QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years of CNC machining experienceExperience operating CNC milling machinesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring instrumentsWorking knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processesAbility to work independently and remain productive throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred:Experience operating Haas CNC equipmentAbility to perform basic machine setups and adjustmentsFamiliarity with CNC controls and minor program editsTechnical or vocational training in machining or a related fieldKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong mechanical aptitudeTroubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain quality standards and tight tolerancesAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to workplace safety and continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyFrequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movementsAbility to work around machinery, cutting tools, coolant, and metal materialsAbility to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwearBenefits of Working with ExpressMedical benefitsHoliday payOptional 401(k)Training and career development opportunitiesNever a fee for job seekersJoin Express Employment Professionals and Find Your Perfect Job!At Express, we connect job seekers with opportunities that match their skills and experience.
