Position Details Course Assistant STA‑104 Department: Mathematics Location: Bailey Hall, Union College, Schenectady, NY Supervisor: Sean Carney Hours/Shifts Available: 5‑10hr/week Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr Number of Positions: 1 Responsibilities Grading homework. Possibly hold extra office hours for students. Work directly with the course instructor. Qualifications Strong record in STA‑104. Successfully completed at least one upper‑level mathematics course in the department with A‑range grades. Math major/minor or ENG major/minor also welcome. Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must. Time‑management skills. Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills. Basic organizational skills (alphanumeric). Attention to detail and accuracy.
