RN Registered Nurse - MedSurg - Multiple Shifts

Position Overview Department: 3 Main, Medical Surgical. Schedule: Multiple Shifts, Full Time Days and Nights, Weekend Days and Nights. Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
