THE OPPORTUNITY

The Corporate Marketing Events Coordinator plans and delivers high-quality company events across the United States that strengthen customer relationships, engage employees, support business priorities, and elevate the Inland brand. Leads events for the United States and partners closely with the Canada Corporate Marketing Events Coordinator on cross-border events that connect Canadian and U.S. teams. Owns the annual the United States event calendar, event plans, vendors, budgets, and on-site execution. Builds repeatable tools, templates, and processes so events are delivered consistently across branches, regions, and business units, allowing leaders and teams to focus on customers, employees, and growth.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Event planning and calendar management Build and manage an annual event calendar for the United States, aligned with marketing priorities, regional needs, and leadership direction. Plan customer, employee, community, recruiting, leadership, and industry events that support Inland’s business priorities and brand presence. Develop clear event plans that define objectives, audience, budget, timeline, responsibilities, success measures, and follow-up actions. On-site execution and attendee experience Lead on-site event execution from setup through teardown, ensuring every event is organized, professional, welcoming, and well run. Own the attendee experience, including registration, signage, hospitality, displays, presentations, activities, and issue resolution. Represent Inland professionally with customers, employees, vendors, manufacturers, community partners, and attendees. Vendor coordination and event budgets) Coordinate venues, catering, rentals, production suppliers, promotional partners, signage, branded materials, and other event vendors. Prepare budgets, gather quotes, track expenses, reconcile invoices, and look for cost-effective solutions.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field Experience planning and executing events, meetings, trade shows, customer programs, employee events, community events, or brand activations. Confidence leading on-site execution, making real-time decisions, and maintaining a professional standard under pressure. Comfortable working with executives, branch teams, vendors, manufacturers, customers, and external partners. Experience in commercial trucks, automotive, heavy equipment, transportation, industrial products, dealerships, or multi-location organizations is an asset.
